Hello! I am Maya, a British illustrator based in Derby, UK.

My paintings depict the world as we almost know it, using observational drawing of the natural world and interpreting it with personality.

In my work I explore quiet moments using muted tones and simple compositions. I enjoy working both traditionally with gauche, watercolour and ink, as well as digitally in procreate.
